COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Missouri Partnership is a public-private, non-profit organization with the principal mission of recruiting new business investment to the state. Through collaborative efforts with state and local partners, Missouri Partnership works to attract new companies by marketing the state’s business advantages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Administrative Coordination

  • Maintain daily office functions (receive/distribute mail and packages, track and maintain inventory of office supplies and snacks, maintain printer/copier/scanner, ensure office stays organized and neat).
  • Coordinate meetings for the team and external partners upon request.
  • Set up for in-office staff meetings, offsite team meetings (AV, catering, facility and meal reservations, and lodging); and related support for meetings with partners and stakeholders that are not directly part of an active project or site visit.
  • Supports staff with travel arrangements as needed.
  • Monitor main office phone line, ensuring proper phone coverage, and route voicemails accurately and promptly.
  • Receive occasional visitors.
  • Occasionally assist with mailings/shipments.
  • Act as point of contact for shipping/mailing and travel vendors.
  • Maintain office conference room schedule and assist in conference room maintenance.
  • Serves as backup for operations and administration as needed.
  • Provide occasional administrative support for CEO.

Data Collection and Management

  • Using subscription services to run reports
  • Verifying data from reports
  • Use the internal CRM (Salesforce) to enter, track, and manage data, run reports, assist with basic analysis, and maintain accurate contact information.
  • Help proofread marketing collateral, reports, and website content.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining website content.
  • Help identify potential leads based on website activity and notify appropriate team members.
  • Monitor social media activity and engagement, flagging trends or opportunities to the team.
  • Collaborate with Director of Research to suggest ideas for new content to support marketing initiatives.
  • Other research, project management, and business development pursuit preparation as needed.

TRAVEL:

  • Occasional, infrequent travel (including overnight travel) may be required to support certain events and meetings.

  • Remember key details as multiple people make verbal, hand-written, and emailed requests throughout the day.

  • Comfortable with an in-office working environment.

KEY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with data organization and basic research.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word and Adobe PDF.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred but not required. Training provided.
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Light sedentary office work.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting requirements not to exceed 50 lbs.
